Not Religious? Not a Problem.

Often I wed couples who say, “we aren’t really religious, can you still do our ceremony?” Of course I can!!

God does not have to be a part of your ceremony for it to be sacred, personal and significant. All that is necessary for your ceremony to be remarkable, is a real, true, heart-felt, mean-it-to the-end-of-the-moon, promise that sounds like, “I do.” Those two little words create a world called marriage, they create forever. “I do” is a promise for a future, for patience, for knowing and unknowing your partner for years and years. That is no small thing, even though they are small words.

Non-traditional, Non-denominationalYou will stand taller after you say them and you will live richer, fuller and more entertaining lives after you say them, I promise. So no, you don’t have to have religion in your ceremony to make it remarkable, special or even ceremonial… all you need to do is to remember the power and the amazingness of the commitment you are making and there it all will be. No church required ;-)
